Wilwood's BP-30 is a Race Only compound used in extreme duty oval, road course, and off-road series that require an aggressive response and durability in the highest temperature ranges. Light-weight sprints and club-sport racers using steel plate rotors that require an immediate response at low temperatures with resistance to fade during periodic or temporary high-temperature spikes. The Wilwood BP-30 Smartpad Brake Pads feature long wear rates with iron and steel rotors, high torque on titanium rotors, and a very high heat fade resistance.
The BP-30 Compound Smart Pads are the newest addition from Wilwood to the Smart Pads brake pad line. These pads feature an increased friction formula for intermediate asphalt ovals and hard braking dirt tracks, as well as light to intermediate duty road courses. BP-30 brake pads bed quickly with low rotor abrasion and provide a long wear life. This unique, very high-friction brake pad compound stars an immediate low-temperature response. The BP-30 pads are compatible with all iron, steel, and titanium rotors.
