Their initial offering to those drivers - torque converters - is still prized by street enthusiasts, and drag and circle track racers. That's not all they offer though. TCI has added on a full complement of products through the years.

Today, JEGS carries a full line of TCI products including Street Transmissions & Competition Transmissions, TCI Torque Converters for the street or strip, TCI Valve Bodies, Transmission Shields, and TCI Shifters.

TCI automatic transmissions are designed to get the torque from your engine to the pavement as efficiently as possible, and turn all that power and grunt into tire-roasting smoke. Since 1968, TCI transmissions have been designed by car enthusiasts who’ve worked to get that kind of performance out of their own vehicles, and they’ve found plenty of like-minded drivers who were on the same quest for quality and dependability from their own vehicles.

TCI got their start making torque converters before expanding into a full complement of other transmission parts and accessories, including their StreetFighter transmissions that are beefed up to handle up to 775 horsepower. Valve bodies, planetaries, pumps, clutch plates, vacuum modulators, internal switches – everything from a TCI auto transmission kit is designed to exceed OEM performance and strength.

Their StreetFighter transmissions are ready to install and feature special clutches and bands, new sprags and roller clutches, improved lubrication systems, and increased line pressure for more positive shifts, less slippage and improved torque capacity. It’s that kind of attention to detail that goes into all parts and accessories from TCI. Towing is brutal for transmissions, but TCI's Trans-Scat Valve Body Kits are designed to give your transmission what it needs for the toughest towing assignments, with improved shifts to second and third and the option to leave the transmission in first gear for climbing (or descending) steep hills.
