Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Look It Gave My T/A!!! I purchased and installed this Hotchkis kit because I had read and heard so many great things about their products. I was not disappointed, because after installing it on my 1973 T/A, the stance is now absolutely perfect, and I couldn't be happier! I will say, however, that this installation is not a piece of cake, and is probably a little bit above the skills of the average weekend mechanic. It requires quite a bit of drilling and the u-bolts that come in the kit have to be bent inward to fit through the axle tube brackets and spring/shock mounting plates (after they are drilled out to 5/8", which is a pretty large increase). I am an ASE Certified Master Technician and am fortunate in that through my work, I have access to lifts and other pieces of equipment such as a transmission jack and high lift screw jacks, and a drill press. Doing this project in your driveway on your back or a creeper would be most difficult, in my opinion, especially the drilling of the mounting plates and u-bolt modifications. The kit itself is extremely high quality, with high grade fasteners, bushings and materials all around, plus a very nice finish on the springs. Well worth the money, but a pretty tough install for the average do-it-yourself-er! I would definitely recommend it though, and would most certainly buy it again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice parts, paint is horrible Both leaf springs look like they were painted and stuck in the box wet. Some chipping and surface rust. Its fixable and i planned to paint them anyway.
