Note: This Pro Series distributor requires the use of an external CD ignition box (available separately). We recommend MSD Digital 6A 121-6201.
You have spent thousands of dollars building the engine of your dreams, and now your distributor doesn’t fit. If you are using a slightly taller block or have milled your heads or block and changed the deck height, this unit is for you. The JEGS 40060 SSR-II Pro Series Distributor comes with an adjustable slip collar that will adjust up to 1.500 in. and gives you the flexibility for a perfect fit.

Does this distributor require an external coil? If it does, is there a 2-wire, magnetic pickup, internal coil distributor out there? I'm putting in my new fi-tech system and want to control timing with it. So here I am looking for the right distributor.

can this distributor take a point style cap with female plugwire sockets ? will it work with the fi-tech injection an msd 6al box.
