Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made conversion, may need longer wheel studs This is a well made brake conversion. Has all the different types of 9" Ford covered. Disc is a lot thicker than the replaced drum, so longer studs may be needed, especially with a thicker aluminum wheel. Directions are extremely vague, if you have some decent mechanical skills, you will get through it. Maybe a 3 hour change, with another person all the way from start to finish.

My F100 pickup has a 9 inch rear end from the factory. How can I tell which type it is, I understand that there is more than one type.

    Asked by: Jagboy
You will need to measure the housing end size and the bolt circle to get the correct kit.
