Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits a g body and I didn’t need 1 provided shim I threw this on an el Camino, I had to cut some stuff but it goes with the territory. Plus I brought this b4 a g body type adapter bracket was sold by jegs so hear me out. The box is stupid heavy! They throw rotors, pads, brackets, and calipers in a little ole box. I read the instructions, made the cuts, painted the pieces, and it fit like a comb in your mother’s morning hair. The NEW kit is kool and all but when I think about it you probably can’t fit 14 in wheels bc the bracket doesn’t make you cut that existing tall piece out (new kit). THIS kit wasn’t a big deal at the time bc I was running 18” wheels.... NOW I’m considering stock 14” again with sick rubber and I KNOW with an adapter the things will bolt right up and give the elky a touch of love... Plus The price of rubber is going up so consider that instructions are easy enough for a 6th grader.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works with c clip eliminators Kit was decent to install. Had to purchase 555-63077, 555-635400 and two 3/16 x 12'' steel brake lines to reach the new stainless hoses supplied in kit. Had to use some other bolts due to c clip eliminators.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Bad but Not Great Definitely be ready to make modifications. The caliper brackets didn’t fit my 69 Cutlass. They were too small to fit around my axle. As well as the rotors wouldn’t fit over the axle hub. In both cases I had to shave down the metal with a grinder to make both parts fit. Works but not convenient especially if you don’t have the tools to do so.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design Bought this kit to install on my 68 Chevelle. Was not happy at all with this kit. The instructions are not clear and the pictures are all black so not helpful at all. First I had issues with the piston retracting as it was supposed to. Then the flimsy clip that is designed to go around the piston and clip onto the inboard pad to keep it from rattling would not work. would not recommend this product.

The 3 "small"bearing end sizes listed here are unfamiliar to me,my "small" ends are 3 1/8 top x 2 11/16" bottom, what am l missing here, is there a kit with this size end flange pieces? Thanks

    Asked by: Monzamatt
These sizes refer to the axle bearing diameters. This kit fits cars only and does not work with any truck rear housings. Please refer to the fitment tab to verify this will work in your application.
