    JEGS brake pedal or clutch pedal assembly is a swing mount style pedal for use with one forward facing master cylinder. This pedal is less complicated and less expensive than balance-bar type brake pedals when you consider the cost of the pedal, two master cylinders, balance bar and the adjustment cable. Add an optional adjustable proportioning valve (available separately) to allow easy adjustment of rear brake pressure in custom applications.

    The pedal mount features a multi-fit bolt pattern that works with most racing & many O.E.M. master cylinders (i.e. Wilwood, Tilton, Girling, US Brake, Howe, Coleman, JEGS, Strange, Aerospace, some Chrysler and some GM). Use an O.E.M. style dual in-line master cylinder for Brakes or a racing style single master cylinder for a Hydraulic Clutch. See the attached chart under 'Details/More info' for suggested master cylinders for use with this pedal assembly.

    The pedal ratio is 6.25:1 and is suitable for manual brakes in most applications. This pedal is not designed for use with a power brake booster. The clevis is sold separately since there are two sizes to fit different master cylinders. Most single master cylinders use 5/16"-24 thread on the pushrod and most O.E.M. style dual in-line master cylinders use a 3/8"-24 thread.

    The pedal is painted black and features a production style rubber pedal pad. Ideal for use in kit cars, street rods and racing.
