Rated 4 out of 5 by from The pic is not right but still a great kit/price Installed and works well, solid rotors and no backing plates included, the booster is gold, used my stock proportioning valve because my manual drum setup has a T at the frame and I didn’t want to buy or make new lines, the new proportioning valve has two outlets for the front brakes. The rod to the ‘pedal is a little too short , needs another quarter inch, but no big deal anjust your brake light switch and pedal stop accordingly

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very happy Booster bracket is supposed to a bolt and go. It won't even line up. It's off Center from the push rod thru firewfirewall and too short to touch the dust boot to the firewall. Stock rims won't work due to the caliper binding on the inner rim. I'm calling Monday to make sure Right stuff engineers actually try to install one before advertising how great this kit is. It will require many hours of fabrication before my 65 C10 will be back in the road. And many more dollars.

Can I use this kit to convert my 1970 GMC 2500 with 8 lug drum brakes to 6 lug disc brakes? I am looking for better stopping and better wheel choices. Thanks

    Asked by: mesquitedc
They will work but you will have to change the wheels for the 6 bolt pattern
