PerformAIRE Eclipse Weather Stations

With pop-up wind sensor

The portable PerformAIRE ECLIPSE Altronics Weather Station shares the same features and monitoring/prediction capabilities as the patented PerformAIRE II:

Easy-to-read keypad and large LCD
10 databases
Store 400 runs

ET, Throttle Stop, 1 Run, and Multiple Variable predictions
Throttle Stop and Air Density ratios
Sea level ET
Vapor pressure
Dew point
Density altitude
Temperature
Absolute barometric pressure
Relative humidity
Run completion and bad run detection
Wind correction (can adjust for multiple vehicle body types)
Last air sample hold
Can be upgraded for downloading and data analysis

ECLIPSE, however, offers these additional features:
LCD is backlit for easier night viewing
Rechargeable lithium ion battery with charger (take hundreds of air samples without recharging)
Auto stabilization (lets user know when weather readings have stabilized for accuracy)
Grains of water (absolute amount of water in the air to better determine how it affects the motor)
Fan-aspirated tunnel allows air to flow directly across sensors for quick & accurate readings even in direct sunlight (ECLIPSE is the only handheld unit with this capability)

Optional Pop-Up Wind Sensor: Measures wind speed and gust. Sensor has no moving parts so nothing wears out. ET & Throttle Stop predictions can now be adjusted automatically on-the-fly for wind effects.

Optional Oxygen Sensor: Measures percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere and oxygen altitude. This data allows ECLIPSE to calculate the atmosphere's exact amount of oxygen, which affects performance. These are essential race car parts.
