The Hedman 89360 Fenderwell Long Tube Headers are purpose-built for 1977-1979 Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, and F-350 4WD trucks and Broncos equipped with the 351M or 400 cubic inch V8. The long tube fenderwell exit design routes exhaust up and over the front axle, providing maximum primary tube length for optimal low- to mid-range torque and top-end horsepower gains over the factory exhaust manifolds. Tubes are CNC mandrel bent from 18-gauge mild steel and hand-welded for consistent quality. The gasketless ball and socket 3 in. collector design allows exhaust system bolt-up even with minor alignment variation and includes 2-1/2 in. reducers for connecting to a standard exhaust system. Compatible with both automatic and manual transmissions, with or without air conditioning and power steering. Note: the temporary painted finish is not a final finish coat — high-heat paint or coating is recommended prior to installation.
