JEGS 555-30050 Painted Long Tube Headers Note:

• Must modify stock exhaust to retain catalytic converter(s). Will not fit with A.I.R. pump. Installation on vehicles 1978 and earlier with air conditioning will require purchase of 555-30782 bracket. 1979 and later vehicles equipped with short compressor will re-use the original bracket. Must modify lower A-Arm support bracket on 1979-1981 models. Will not fit angle plug heads. Pre-1970 vehicles with exhaust mounted alternator/generator will require purchase of 555-30780 bracket. Will not fit 1967-1969 Camaro with A/C. The #1 tube (front drivers) has a small dent for spark plug and spark plug wire clearance.

Special Exhaust Headers Notes:

• Due to variations in engine and vehicle configurations, installation of aftermarket headers may require minor modifications
• Common adjustments include power-steering or A/C bracket relocation, dipstick tube modification, or clearance for steering shaft and clutch linkage
• Inspect for worn or collapsed motor mounts, and verify clearance for spark plugs, wires, brake lines, and transmission or fuel lines
• Always test-fit headers before painting or coating to ensure proper alignment and clearance
• Re-torque after initial heat cycles

This part is only legal for sale and use on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles or on vehicles used solely for the purposes of closed competition racing.
