JEGS 555-30060 Painted Long Tube Headers Notes:

• 1978 models utilizing A/C require 555-30782 bracket for large style compressors
• 1979-1987 with the small (radial) compressor will re-use stock bracket
• Must modify stock exhaust to retain catalytic converters
• Applications with O2 sensors will require the purchase of O2 fittings
• Work with automatic floor & column mounted (some modifications may be required) shifters
• These headers will not work with standard transmission
• Will fit factory aluminum angle plug heads (will NOT fit aftermarket aluminum angle plug heads)

Special Exhaust Headers Notes:

• Due to variations in engine and vehicle configurations, installation of aftermarket headers may require minor modifications
• Common adjustments include power-steering or A/C bracket relocation, dipstick tube modification, or clearance for steering shaft and clutch linkage
• Inspect for worn or collapsed motor mounts, and verify clearance for spark plugs, wires, brake lines, and transmission or fuel lines
• Always test-fit headers before painting or coating to ensure proper alignment and clearance
• Re-torque after initial heat cycles
