JEGS 555-30094 Shorty Headers Features:

• 1.580 in. H x 1.480 in. W Ports
• Crafted from 18-gauge mandrel bent steel tubing
• Includes collector reducers, bolts, and gaskets
• Headers are treated with a light coating of anti-corrosion paint to avoid rust during shipment and on the shelf. This coating must be removed entirely before painting with a high-temp paint for final installation. Coating can be removed with lacquer thinner and rags or sanded/sand blasted off
• Do not fit angle plug heads
• Automatic Transmissions Only
• Tubes 3 and 5 sweep out to clear the steering shaft
• Tubes 1 and 7 tuck very close to the head

Special Exhaust Headers Notes:

• Due to variations in engine and vehicle configurations, installation of aftermarket headers may require minor modifications
• Common adjustments include power-steering or A/C bracket relocation, dipstick tube modification, or clearance for steering shaft and clutch linkage
• Inspect for worn or collapsed motor mounts, and verify clearance for spark plugs, wires, brake lines, and transmission or fuel lines
• Always test-fit headers before painting or coating to ensure proper alignment and clearance
• Re-torque after initial heat cycles
