Create a whole new performance look for your 70-72 Chevelle/Malibu Sweep dash with a NVU direct-fit kit. (Does not fit SS dash) NVU's exclusive CNC laminate bracket easily installs any NVU 6 gauge kit in your factory dash without modification to the factory bezel. Bolts right in using the OE mountings.

Each kit is hand assembled in Detroit and features NVU’s unique mounting bracket, CNC laser cut and formed to precise specifications for a superior fit. Each kit comes complete with senders, factory-match fuel gauge (0-90). NVU instruments are easy to integrate with your old school engine or the latest LS powerplants. Programmable speedometer reads vehicle speed from most any aftermarket and OE speed senders (including GPS); can also read from a GM PCM. Tachometer operates from any ignition output or PCM.

Inspired by military sets, we have duplicated the feel of the very popular aircraft and military gauges of the 30s and 40s, but with modern technology. Why buy salvage yard gauges that don’t match, or work for that matter? We started with the military graphics and upgraded to domed lenses and stainless steel bezels for an upscale, “5-Star General” appearance. The graphics are duplicated down to the smallest detail, and a white-tipped pointer adds to the effect. The mechanical speedometer features a trip odometer with reset switch. The patented bi-torque 2-1/16” gauges offer the modern technology behind the scenes to provide accurate readings. The New Vintage 1940 Series gauges are made in the USA and feature our 5-year warranty.

Now all 1940 Series 6 gauge kits with programmable speedometer are based on our Phoenix platform with user select able inputs, OLED screens, stepper motor technology all made in the USA. All 6 gauge kits with OLED screens feature Phoenix Direct Drive technology, bay far the easiest way to wire up a 6 gauge kit.
