The BNH1 is one of Sanderson header designs for “nostalgia in. engines. The letters “BNH in. stand for “Buick Nailhead in., the venerable Buick V8 engine that powered numerous dragsters, lakesters, and hot rods in the sixties and seventies. A build-up series some time ago by Doc Frohmader in Street Rodder Magazine has sparked a renewed interest in the mighty 364, 401, and 425 engines. The BNH1 header fits all street rod chassis, pickups, and customs without a cross member under the center of the engine, or steering interference just behind the center of the engine. Comes with all hardware necessary for installation.

The Patented Leak-Free Design on Sanderson Headers provides the only leak-free flange design on the market … Do Not Attempt To Use Flange Gaskets! The raised flange on tube-style Sanderson Headers will buckle the gasket during tightening and cause a leak! Sanderson Headers are NOT emissions legal on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify local regulations for compliance. Wrapping Sanderson Headers with ANY thermal tape voids the header warranty.
