Scott Drake S1MS-16612-MF is crafted through the Resin Transfer Mold (RTM) method, this bolt-on fiberglass hood boasts a metal frame and a fiberglass cloth underside. This manufacturing technique ensures consistency in both fit and appearance, a notable improvement over chopped or hand-laid fiberglass hoods that can vary from one part to another. While it may not replicate the Concours appearance of original Shelby hoods, the RTM process provides a clean factory look underneath, distinguishing it from typical aftermarket fiberglass hoods. Please note that this hood requires additional preparation compared to sheet metal hoods.
