1981 Features:
- 2500-7800 RPM power band.
- 2 x 4 carburetor setup.
- Height: front is 10.12', rear is 10.93'.
- Fits oval port cylinder heads.
- Can be used on tall deck (truck) blocks.
- Square flange carburetor mounting.
- Special D-shaped port runner design
- Large plenum chamber.
- Recommended thermostat housing gasket p/n 375-2201
- Separate tops, runners, and gaskets are available.
Notes: GM HEI ignition will not clear. For optimum performance, port matching may be required between the upper plenum and intake manifold.
Designed around Weiand's exclusive patented ''D''-shaped port runners and large plenum chamber, Hi-Ram provides the optimum fuel charge needed for maximum power in normally aspirated competition engines where high RPM use is necessary. RPM range is up to 9000, depending on individual application. Weiand manifolds accept standard flange Holley carbs and require use of Weiand linkage kit.
