Will not work with aftermarket CD (Capacity Discharge) electronic ignition systems similar to MSD that require an external control box.

Does this coil require an external resistor when used on a points system or does it have an internal resistor ? If so what ohm resistor should be used. Thanks
Will this work with a Pertronix Ignitor 2 without a ballast resistor
