How do you rout the throttle cable with this setup? The existing bracket is far away and in the wrong direction. Thanks, JB

You may have to extend the throttle cable or get a longer on to complete this connection.

Will this intake work with the factory exhaust manifold? Also, will I be okay to not upgrade my camshaft? This is for an '84 F150 4.9, 4 speed.

    Asked by: MrWilson
Yes, the intake will work with the factory exhaust, but you will not realize all of the performance gains available using the kit.

    Will this work on a 58 f-100 with a 300 6cyl ?

    Asked by: Tommy J
Assuming this is an engine swap since the 58 did not have a 300 6cyl yes. The 300 cu in (4.9 L) six was added for the F-series in 1965. This intake is intended for the ford 240-300 Inline 6-Cylinder engine line. Also, a Holley #510-0-8007 390 CFM 4-barrel carburetor recommended.

This can add up to 115 hp, however, we do not have torque figures on this.
