Rated 2 out of 5 by from Average quality I recently purchased this kit for a drag car I'm building for a friend. The chassis and housing brackets are nice lazer cut pieces. However that is where the quality ends with this kit. The welds on the bars themselves look amateur at best, and the tubing required extensive clean up to get the thread adapters installed. It would also be helpful if your tech department had the dimensions of the brackets and tube lengths available to answer questions prior to purchase. Due to the appearance of the welds I ended up scrapping the tubes and purchasing a stick of chromoly from the local steel supplier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as described Purchased original set in January, Welded subframe in car per instructions in 4 link kit. Kit instructions state 21” center to center on rod ends for 4 link bars. 4 link rods are 1” to short to achieve 21”. Link rods were black pipe not chrome moly. Axle link brackets looked like they were cut out with acetylene torch. Returned kit, took a month to get new kit. New kit looked much better, plates cut out on plasma table. Rod ends were chrome moly this time but still 1” to short to achieve the specified 21” per the 4 link kit instructions and the bolts that are supplied in the kit are corse thread and all the nuts are fine thread so I can’t use them either. I was informed, that’s the way the kit is assembled. So change your instructions to state that the rods need to be 20” center to center so the next guy doesn’t have to cut the newly welded back end out his car for your poor instructions please. Or put the correct size rods in the kit to start with.

Is this a kit for a pair of four links or for just one? The pic shows the complete kit. I hope it is for the complete kit shown.

    Asked by: Builder1
Yes you would only need one of these to build the 4 link.
