NHRA Drag Racing is taking center stage with the premiere of Chasing Speed, a new six-part docuseries from VICE TV and the NHRA that delivers an inside look at the fastest motorsport on the planet.
Premiering tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VICE TV, Chasing Speed pulls back the curtain on the speed, pressure, and personalities that define NHRA competition. The series will also be available on the VICE YouTube channel beginning January 22, making it easy for fans to catch every episode.
From 340+ mph record-setting runs to championship battles decided one pass at a time, Chasing Speed follows teams and drivers throughout the 2025 NHRA season. Viewers get unprecedented access to the moments that matter most.
Beyond the on-track action, the series highlights the culture and people behind NHRA Drag Racing. It showcases the dedication, diversity, and passion that have fueled 75 years of drag racing history, offering longtime fans and newcomers alike a deeper appreciation for what it takes to compete at the highest level.
The premiere also comes during a milestone year for NHRA, which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary with a special appearance at the New York Stock Exchange alongside reigning champions Austin Prock and Doug Kalitta, marking both a historic moment for the sport and the launch of a new era of exposure.
