Building on last year’s success, JEGS aims to make an even bigger impact in the fight against breast cancer
Delaware, Ohio - The JEGS Foundation is proud to announce the kickoff of its 2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign, which officially begins on October 1st. After raising nearly $65,000 in 2023 for breast cancer research and awareness, JEGS is gearing up for another impactful month of fundraising, community involvement, and awareness initiatives to continue supporting the fight against breast cancer.
Throughout the month of October, JEGS will engage with its customers, employees, and partners in a shared mission to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. This year, the foundation’s goal is to exceed last year’s fundraising achievements by offering the option to make a donation at checkout on JEGS.com, further contributing to life-saving research and advancements in treatment.
"Every October, we dedicate ourselves to supporting the millions of people affected by breast cancer," said JEGS Social Media & Events Manager, Makenna Brown. "Our 2023 campaign raised nearly $65,000, and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2024. This cause is deeply personal to so many of us, and we’re committed to making a lasting impact."
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to reflect, unite, and take action. It serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection through regular screenings, as well as the critical role that community and solidarity play in the fight against breast cancer.
JEGS recognizes that cancer touches nearly everyone in some way, whether through personal experiences, loved ones, or friends. This campaign is not only about raising funds but also about encouraging proactive health measures like mammograms and self-examinations.
JEGS is once again dedicated to supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through a variety of initiatives that emphasize community involvement, fundraising efforts, and educational outreach.

The annual JEGS health fair will feature a mobile mammogram unit, ensuring all staff members have access to early detection screenings. Employees are also encouraged to participate in local volunteer efforts and serve as advocates for the cause.
"I am incredibly grateful to work for an organization that prioritizes early detection screenings, is committed to supporting research, and truly cares for its associates and everyone impacted by breast cancer," Makenna said. "Our team is the backbone of this campaign. By offering convenient access to health screenings and creating an environment where open discussions about health are encouraged, we empower our employees to take proactive steps for their well-being and become champions of the cause."
