JEGS High Performance has been announced as an official sponsor of the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) series. As part of this sponsorship, JEGS will be the primary sponsor of Kenny Wallace's car in the SRX Series finale at Lucas Oil Speedway. SRX Chief Executive Officer, Don Hawk, expressed excitement about JEGS joining as a sponsor, highlighting their reputation for reliability and speed. Kenny Wallace, who has a successful partnership with JEGS through his YouTube channel, expressed his honor in representing JEGS with their iconic black and yellow logo on his SRX car.
Gabe Mendoza, CEO of JEGS, emphasized the exposure and testing of fan response that this sponsorship will bring to the JEGS parts brand in racing. He mentioned the upcoming event at Lucas Oil Speedway as an opportunity to showcase JEGS to both live attendees and viewers of Thursday Night Thunder on ESPN. The SRX series, airing on ESPN and the ESPN App, will span six consecutive Thursday nights, reviving the iconic "ESPN Thursday Night Thunder" branding.
SRX, created by a team including Sandy Montag, George Pyne, Tony Stewart, and Ray Evernham, features champion-level drivers from various racing backgrounds. Notable names such as Tony Stewart, Bill Elliott, Chase Elliott, Tony Kanaan, and many more have participated in the series. Tony Stewart claimed the inaugural SRX Championship in 2021, while Marco Andretti emerged as the champion in 2022. With its star-studded lineup and thrilling races, SRX continues to captivate fans of motorsports.
