Blueprint Engines
If you're building an engine from the ground up, trust a Blueprint Engine to be your base. Blueprint Dressed Crate Engines come "ready to run" with the fuel system, ignition system, plugs, wires, and the water and fuel pumps already installed.
JEGS carries a full line of Blueprint Engines, from the Big Block Chrysler 493ci / 525HP / 590TQ to the 1992-96 Corvette LT1 Replacement Crate Engine. These engines are built from handpicked, seasoned blocks. All are sonic tested to ensure a consistent thickness, an align-honed main bearing bore, and that they're square and parallel decked.
In addition to new engines, Blueprint also offers aluminum cylinder heads.
Honest Testing
Each engine is put through a complete testing cycle on a performance dyno, and must meet strict performance numbers before it can leave the assembly area. Among those specs are peak horsepower and peak torque. Blueprint is so proud of what their engines can do in those areas, that they put a "report card" out with every engine. This provides peace of mind for you that your Blueprint engine will perform as promised.
