    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good fitment. Poor condition I was happy to get my headers. Opened the box. Box was fine by the way. Opened up the headers in the bags. The finish was all scratched up like someone drug the headers on the floor. Then the on the one the finish wasnt 100 percent coating the header causing surface rust. Im not doing anything fancy with these and i needed them. They fit nicely on my 81 k30 big block with a hydraulic clutch sm465. Lots of starter room and lots of room for the front drive shaft. Also lots of room around the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder. Other than the quality of the finish they fit very nice.

I purchased these headers a few months back and when they arrived I set them aside with the many other boxes of parts I had acquired for my project . I recently began my project and in the process I opened my Hooker Headers box and the black hi temp paint that was applied at the factory was scratched off . It looked as if they were skid across a rough concrete floor , Both sides of each header showed the same damage . As I opened the box the headers were they were well packed and individually wrapped so I was shocked when I seen the damage . I can only conclude that they were damaged before they were packed for shipping . The headers themselves were not dented so I did not return them but I have had to purchase a couple of cans of high temp paint to fix the damage . It's just not what you'd expect when buying a quality product from Jegs .
