need 15 inch radial tyres to fit hecklers corvette daytona wide body . at present they are 305/50 15 rear and 265/50 15 front would like a slight forward rake ..so maybe 60 profile back 50 front ? the car is in a hot country . mainly will be street driven . some track.

Good evening my name is Greg. I have a 69 Camaro with mono leaf springs, and Cal trac. In 2010 I used mickey drag radials 295/65 15, I believe they are called SS now. My question is with this new style tire are the with and overall size of the tire the same.

Greg, if you were running the older Mickey Thompson 295/65R15 ET Street tires and are looking at the current ET Street S/S line, the size designation is still essentially the same. A 295/65R15 is approximately 29.9 inches tall and about 11.9 inches wide when mounted on the recommended wheel width. In other words, it is commonly referred to as a 30-inch tall tire with roughly a 12-inch section width.
While exact measurements can vary slightly from one tire model generation to another, the current ET Street S/S in the same 295/65R15 size is very close to the dimensions of the older version. If your Camaro had proper clearance with the previous tire, the current version should fit similarly.
Since your car is running mono leaf springs and CalTracs, I would still recommend verifying wheel width and wheel backspacing along with tire-to-quarter-panel and tire-to-leaf-spring clearance before ordering, especially if the car sits differently than it did in 2010.
