JEGS is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Fling Race Series through a new three-year agreement, continuing a relationship that dates back to the very beginning of the Fling brand.
Since the Fling Race Series was formed in 2010, JEGS has stood alongside the events as a committed supporter of grassroots bracket racing. With 17 years of collaboration and 44 Fling events to date, the partnership reflects a shared dedication to racers, competition, and the experience that keeps racers coming back round after round.
This renewed agreement further aligns with JEGS’ long-standing mission in sportsman drag racing, including more than 40 years of support for prestigious events such as the JEGS Allstars and the JEGS SPORTSnationals.

Born From a Passion for Racing
The Fling Race Series began in 2009 with a simple vision shared by lifelong friends and champion racers Kyle Seipel and Peter Biondo. While on a family vacation, the two drafted a 10-page blueprint designed entirely from a racer’s perspective.
Kyle Seipel, one of the most influential and beloved figures in sportsman racing, passed away from a long-fought battle with cancer on June 22, 2021. His passion and vision live on through the Fling Race Series, with staff and racers honoring his legacy at every event.
That racer-first mentality became the foundation of the Fling brand and remains at the core of every event today.
The Racer Experience
In 2010, that original vision came to life with the inaugural Spring Fling. The mission was clear: put grassroots bracket racers on the big stage and deliver an unforgettable experience, whether they win or not.
That philosophy is captured in the Fling Race Series tagline: “Race It. Experience It.”

Today, Fling events sell out within minutes of tickets going on sale, a testament to the demand and trust the series has built with racers nationwide. Backed by a dedicated staff of more than 15 team members, the Fling Race Series delivers five marquee events annually at premier facilities.

A Partnership Built From the Racer’s Perspective
For JEGS, the partnership with the Fling Race Series is rooted in a racer-first mindset. That is what has made the Fling Race Series a natural fit for JEGS for more than a decade. JEGS’ Involvement Across the Fling Race Series
- Spring Fling Million - JEGS will co-sponsor the live feed throughout the entire five-day event
- Spring Fling Galot - JEGS will own the title rights for Thursday’s race day
- Fall Fling - JEGS will co-sponsor the live feed for the full five-day event and JEGS will also own the title rights for Saturday’s race day
- Door Car Fling - JEGS will serve as the sole title rights sponsor for the entire five-day event
