Specifications:
Why Alloy USA Axle Shafts? Because horsepower is useless if it can't get to the ground. These performance axles are made from 1541H steel, a high-carbon alloy that contains much more manganese than 1040 steel used in stock axles. This increases ductility and the ability to absorb stressors. Up to 35% stronger, shafts are heat-treated and induction hardened for twice the tensile strength than stock. The latest cold-rolling technology produces splines that are stronger than splines cut traditionally (no cuts mean no edges to create stress points that can fracture). Shafts are then CNC-machined and magnaflux-inspected for cracks before being left natural or anodized black. Kits include driver and passenger side shafts, seals, bearings, and wheel studs.
