    Turbo Thruster II Kits

    BD's California Edition of this same Turbo Thruster II GTP38 replacement turbocharger utilizes a 0.84 A/R turbine housing that is legal to install in California (CARB EO number D-553-2). It is a great fit for all off-road, street and highway 7.3L Power Stroke applications.

    BD Diesel Performance's TP38 and GTP38 Turbo Thruster II Kits provide up to a 40% increase in airflow over the stock turbo design with no compressor surging or choked-off turbine flow. The Turbo Thruster II kits feature a proven 66/88 mm compressor wheel that is hot isostatic pressed improve centrifugal strength at high rotating speeds and boost pressures. The non-waste gated 1.0 A/R turbine housing on the TP38 kit handles higher exhaust flow and eliminates the choke experienced with some turbos. BD's 360-degree 6-pad thrust bearing reduces heat build-up and increases durability.


    These Kits are designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock turbo. The Turbo Thruster II also provides cooler EGT's. These kits are proven to increase fueling by reducing exhaust temperatures and smoke levels on acceleration without surging. They outperform the stock turbocharger and improve your trucks fuel economy. They are the perfect match whether your engine is stock or modified.
