512 - Dewitts Radiator Caps is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Radiator Cap Bought this to fit my De Witt radiator as a replacement for a Stant Lever vent type cap. I have had 2 of the Stant caps and they both were hard to remove. I think the issue is the neck on the radiator. Wasn't too sure about this since it has no vent capability but I thought I would see how their cap worked on their radiator. The thing is massive but it really fits the radiator a lot better. it is still a little tough to remove but I don't pinch my hands or have to get a screwdriver to help removed it like I do with the Stant caps. You get plenty of leverage since its so large in diameter and you don't have to deal with the flip up lever to release it.. You just press down and twist it. I actually like how it looks on the radiator- it's more in line with how a custom aftermarket HP radiator should look. For reference, the car is a 1958 Corvette. I would definitely recommend this item
