    I bought a complete gauge.kit of auto meter it came with sending unit well i happen to a cause a short i ground out wire gauge shows full so i know guage is ok the sending unit got damage will this sending unit will work with the guages i also got fr0m j

    Yes as long as it matches the Ohm reading of the gauge that you have, in this case its a Chevy sending unit with a 0-90 ohm reading.
