    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gibson Exhaust on my 02 Xterra I Had bought an 02 Nissan Xterra that needed a muffler and rear pipe assembly. After researching the market for whats out there i decided on the Gibson brand. Most affordable, good reviews anf seem to be well made. I decided to replace everything from the catalyst converters back. I got a stock Y pipe from Rock Auto. And the rear pipe muffler assembly (Gibson) from Jegs, they had the best price on it. It comes with no mounting hardware only the clamps needed to piece it together. So i went and got all new hardware from home depo. Everything mounted great easy install but one of the clamps striped its threads while trying to tighten it down. Well undersized for tge application. So had to run out and pick up a beefier one from napa that held great. Once i was done took it for a test drive exspecting to hear a slightly more deeper throaty tone to the exhaust but that wasnt the case. This exhaust sounds pretty normal. I am happy with the quiet smoove acceleration i get, just wish it had a little rumble on acceleration and quit in a cruise. Overall easy install, well made pipes, clamps were flimsy and comes with no new hardware. Drives great sounds stock.
