Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good finish but still needs some work They have had some issues with this part and they held the orders for a while while they re-drilled some of the holes for mounting because they were off. you can read previous reviews of this part from Summit and see what I'm talking about. However I go this one after they had fixed the problems. It mounted up just fine. but The rear cover on the back of the adapter that is essentially a dust shield for the column and made of metal has an issue. this is the second one I have received form them that i had to machine it down to keep it from rubbing on the steering column while turning the wheel I am using an IDIDIt Steering column. Not sure if it is just not compatible without machining it to fit or what. but After machining the part came out just right. One last thing. I was under the impression from looking at this part and reading about it that it was somehow different form the normal mounting system which I already had. the write up from grant makes it appear as though they have made this a one piece unit now. it is not a one piece unit. it has all the exact same parts as the old unit. nothing is different. The only reason i kept it is because i have taken my steering wheel off one too many times and the screw holes for the steering wheel were stripped. Anyway, the finish was okay. Seemed a bit rushed. the fitment was so so. and the quality seems about the same. i probably won't get a grant steering wheel when i change this one to the one that i want. It;s just too much to mess with.

I recently purchase a hub but was small and didnt fill in the whole area where the hub goes, needed to know the measurement of this one to see if it fills in the area

    Asked by: D123
The largest part of this hub adapter will be approximately 3" in diameter.
