    Ford C6

    Each converter is hand-built and inspected to ensure the utmost quality. By using a state-of-the-art spray welding process, Twister converters will provide a clean appearance with a strong consistent fusion. All Hays Twister torque converters are internally welded to provide a longer service life than traditional brazing. Stators with high flow vents and channels are used to promote cooling and Heavy-duty Torrington bearings are used for greater strength and durability.

    Hays Twister Full Race Torque Converters are intended for all-out race use and work great in combination with power adders and trans-brakes. Each Twister converter is tested and proven to support 1,000 horsepower, and most feature multiple stall speeds to accommodate different applications. Almost all Hays converters are built to be application specific for reducing weight, increasing horsepower and acceleration over multi-bolt pattern style converters.
