The Hughes Performance Competition Powerglide Transmissions have made a name for themselves on drag strips across the country. It is widely know that the GM Powerglide transmission is the most commonly used transmission on the track. Because it is so popular, Hughes Performance's team of expert engineers spent countless hours of research and development to provide their customers with the most efficient Powerglide transmission money can buy. All Hughes Performance Competition Powerglide Transmissions come equipped with the Hughes Performance Superglide case, as well as 9310 alloy gears and billet output shafts. This provides Hughes Performance Competition Powerglide Transmissions with a horsepower rating of 1500+ HP. These Competition Powerglide Transmissions are equipped with quick disconnect cooler line fittings and an inner case liner for total SFI certification. Competition Powerglide Transmissions are also equipped with fluid release transbrakes for quicker reaction times. Made in the U.S.A.
