    Will this fitting screw directly into a Mustang II power steering rack. I'm not talking about screwing it into the fitting already in the rack, i'm talking about removing THAT fitting and replacing it with THIS fitting, which accepts an AN6 hose.

    You will need to check the size. This will screw into a 1/2"-20 inverted flare fitting. Racks fitting sizes are not the same.
