Upright Cells
The nominal dimensions that are published are given for reference only. This cell is a rotationally molded polyethylene unit. The ambient (room) temperature will affect the cooling rate (once released from the mold) and the nominal dimensions. Please measure your cell first before cutting the floor or drilling for the mounts.
Specifications:
JEGS Drag Race Fuel Cells are approved for competition. They feature sturdy yet lightweight roto-molded, cross-linked polyethylene construction; aircraft-style flush-mount lever lock lid; and safety foam that prevents low-level starvation to increase performance.
JEGS Rollover Vent Valves are made from lightweight aluminum and designed with a one-way check valve that allows air to flow through the vent line under normal operating conditions, and in the event of a rollover, the valve closes off the vent line keeping fuel in the cell and not allowing it to spill over. These valves are available in internal and external mount applications and in AN sizes of -6 AN, -8 AN, and -10 AN. Rollover valves are mandatory for many sanctioned racing organizations for safety precautions. Please consult your rules book or safety crew.
I'm looking to buy the same fuel cell without the foam.
