    Can you confirm the flared fitting sizes? I am finding no such thing as a 9/16-18 SAE 45deg flare. There is a 5/8-18 SAE 45deg flare, but not the 9/16. Can you please confirm.

    is there a special way to hook up lines?

    No, this is a universal transmission cooler and you will need to cut one of the original cooling lines going into the radiator and install this inline. Instruction are included in the package.
