Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice part! I bought and installed this a few months ago, after looking at a lot of others on the market. As other reviews have said, this one is the closest to the original (70 Chevelle), and appears to be very good quality. I just had to swap the position of the two bolts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality This was as close to my original on my 70 Chevelle as I could find. Many others may work, but I liked that this one was made like the stock one. Recommended by a buddy who used it on his 71.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like original Fit perfectly, no issues. The only thing I had to do was to change the bolts to opposite sides to make it exactly like my old one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cadillac Fitment Does not fit 1966 Cadillac Deville. I had to remove upper and lower mounting brackets from the factory Rag Joint. Also, hardware is to short. Going to buy longer bolts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very closely matched OEM Initial purchase received was incorrect. Rag joint initially received would fit the 13/16" steering box with flat but did not have the correct reinforcing backing plates or the OEM horn wire connection as shown in the online catalog, description or reviews. Called JEGS tech and a warehouse check found the correct OEM part. The incorrect rag joints had the same P/N and stocked at the same location so a visual check by JEGS was required to find the OEM correct rag joint. JEGS was very helpful in getting me what I had originally ordered but the mix up cost me a week and a half. Hopefully they will get this issue resolved with the distributor.

If it has a flat, does that automatically mean it is the 3/4 30spline?

    Asked by: 65goon
You will still need to count the number of splines to verify.

Is this the correct rag joint for a 70 Chevy 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive truck?

    Asked by: 65goon
You will need to verify the spline count as some of these application used different joints. They are available as follows; Part Number: 555-607050 - 3/4"-30 Spline w/ Flat Part Number: 555-607051 - 3/4"-36 Spline Part Number: 555-607052 - 13/16"-36 Spline
