JEGS 72330 Rust Preventative Coating is a high solids coating designed to stop rust and corrosion from spreading. This single-component coating protects the surface from water, salt, chemicals, and other corrosive contaminants and can be applied over properly prepared rust and dries to a flexible, non-porous surface that will not crack, chip, flake, or peel. For applications exposed to UV light, it must be top-coated with an industrial topcoat and is V.O.C. compliant in North America.

Features of JEGS Rust Preventative:
- Can Be Brushed or Sprayed on Directly Over Properly Treated Rust
- Starves Rust from Moisture & Oxygen to Prevent Spreading
- Significantly Extends the Life of Rusted Metal
- Can Be Used as a Topcoat if Not Exposed to UV Rays
- Allows You to Apply Paint as a Topcoat Over Rusted Metal
- Can be recoated after 3-8 Hrs depending on temperature and humidity
- Can be Top Coated after 24 Hr Drying Time
- Rust Preventive Coating should not be applied when temperatures are below (50 degrees F/10 degrees C)
- For Best Results, it is Recommend to Apply this Coating at 72 degrees F or above

Your risk from exposure to these chemicals varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure, work in a well-ventilated area and with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
