Superior Sealing for Your Engine's Valve Covers
MAHLE Performance valve cover gaskets use advanced materials with the latest technology to seal and protect engines designed to push the limits of conventional gaskets. MAHLE valve cover gaskets are offered in multiple material types all with different properties. Available in high-density cork composites for more economical applications, steel core laminate with maximum compression and torque retention for high vacuum conditions, and molded rubber for superior sealing solutions.
Cork Composite Gaskets: Perfect for budget-minded performance application that needs an economical and dependable gasket. High-density cork rubber and laminated cork composites result in a compressible gasket without leak paths. These gaskets are typically available in thicker than standard gaskets which provide more clearance for valve train components.
Steel Core Laminate Gaskets: For the professional racer looking for severe duty, fiber faced steel core gasket with a laminated anti-stick coating. They provide maximum compression and torque retention in high vacuum conditions. These gaskets are designed to be safe for all fuels in naturally aspirated, supercharged, and nitrous applications.
Molded Rubber Gaskets: Provide greater ease of installation as well as superior sealing characteristics. These gaskets consist of silicone molded rubber over a rigid carrier with compression limiters to prevent over-tightening. Silicone rubber provides an extended service life along with multiple sealing beads that provide dependable sealing in all conditions.
