Increases Coolant Flow Up To 30%
Engineered for maximum cooling performance and reliability, Milodon offers a high performance Water Pump for your application. Milodon high performance water pumps feature balanced distribution, improved efficiency and close tolerance impellers that increase coolant flow up to 30%. This increases the pressure within the block to help prevent hot spots and steam pockets, as well as, improve coolant flow through the radiator. All Milodon high performance water pumps have new, high quality steel or aluminum castings that use large diameter shafts and heavy duty bearings. All water pumps are direct factory replacements equipped with all hose connections and bosses.
Note: A Milodon High-Flow Thermostat is highly recommended to enable the water pump to work to its highest capability.
I believe I have read that Aluminum pumps used a different Timing cover than the cast iron ones. When ordering a timing cover, a lot of times the water pump comes into play asking "Aluminum" or "Cast Iron". Does this fit factory when originally was Cast??
