Rated 3 out of 5 by from I think it's a good product I bought this 2 weeks ago but the instructions weren't percific on how it works the wiring was simple it just didn't show how to set it up

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk If I could give it zero stars I would. It's cheapest built light I have ever used. Wires are so small you can't even crimp them. When you strip them the wires just fall apart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work straight out of the box Have used autometer in the past but wanted a cheap shift light for an occasional track toy. Once hooked up the shift light was on constantly. With just Power and ground (without tach signal feed) hooked up, the light was still on. Internal short right out of the box. Guess you get what you pay for! The only good part is jegs agreed to return the product with no hassle. I will be replacing it with the autometer - no questions.

Will it work on a v8 diesel?

    Asked by: Matt7384
It will depend on the tach signal that the ECU has. You can also use a diesel signal generator.

I have an older Autometer 3980 Tachometer that does not have a "shift light" function built into it. Autometer told me I cannot "add" a Shift Light to this Tach..........Will this Kit work for me, so I can actually have a Shift Light with my 3980 Tach?

    Asked by: OkieRocket
Yes, this is a stand alone shift light you can mount it anywhere.

Will this work on a Harley v-twin EFI motor? How is it wired to the bike?

    Asked by: Sir James
This light is made to work with 4,6, or 8 cylinder engines. Yours is a v-twin and will not work properly.
