R502064A - Richmond Gear RGI-5 Manual Transmissions is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a smooth installation… The transmission looks great on the bench. It is a bit a very tight fit in my application, more than expected. I suggest you get all the dimensions which are hard or impossible to get. Mine is a GM application but note that the trans is set up with all Ford equipment. The mechanical speedo gear (drive gear) is a 7 tooth, also not specified. No repair manuals exist yet either. Now, the ugly part. It leaks at the lower rear housing dowel pin. I pressed in a 0.50 aluminum plug to seal it. There is another leak up higher somewhere. This was found after installation 😖. Still assessing now that I can drive the vehicle. Shift is not smooth yet. Hopefully it’s just a wear in issue.
