    Plastigage is a quick and precise way to check bearing clearances. Each strip is color coded, has a measuring scale printed on the packaging, and is soluble in oil. Manufactured from a special extruded plastic thread with accurately controlled crush properties.

    Green Plastigage: .001"-.003" Tolerances
    Red Plastigage: .002"-.006" Tolerances
    Yellow Plastigage: .009"-.020" Tolerances
