- For Holley Carburetors
The TV cable mounting hole on Holley carburetors will not duplicate the amount of OE TV cable travel required for GM and Ford transmissions. GM 200C and 200-4R have a different amount of cable travel than the GM 4L60 and Ford AOD transmissions. A properly functioning TV system is critical for transmission line rise and shift timing. Incorrect TV cable travel results in improper setting of TV cable adjustments, leading to incorrect pressures and shift timing.
Installation of Sonnax TV cable corrector kit for Holley carburetors AS4-04K will duplicate the amount of OE linear cable travel for the 4L60 and AOD applications. For best results use with Sonnax TV cable bracket AS6-01. It is easily adapted to duplicate the amount of OE cable travel of the 200C and 200-4R applications. Sonnax kit AS4-04K precisely sets the required amount of TV cable travel and eliminates the need for other high-cost adapter systems.
- Precisely sets the required amount of TV cable travel
- Eliminates the need for other high-cost adapter systems
NOTE: This kit is only suited for Holley carburetors with aftermarket-style throttle arm. This kit is not intended to work with OE Holley carburetors or other full race styles of throttle arm. Ball stud adaptors are not included with this kit, see instructions for additional details.
Specifications:
Can this be used on a Holley 2300 on an 84 Ford 302 with AOD TV rod? Or will I need to convert from tv rod to tv cable?
