Air Flow Research Engine Assembly Lube is a fully synthetic lubricant designed specifically to inhibit wear in metal-to-metal contacted surfaces within an engine. AFR’s assembly lube can be used to pre-lube bearings, cams, lifters and valve train components and more to prevent galling, scuffing or seizing of parts during startup and operation. A unique, proprietary synthetic molecule in the lube allows it to adhere to metal surfaces and create a lasting protective barrier that will eliminate dry starts. AFR assembly lube will mix with any engine oil, will not foam up or plug any filters in the oil system.
- Use as a pre-lube when assembling engine components
- Compatible with any conventional mineral oil as well as full synthetics
- High-temperature service capability
- Eliminates dry starts
- Sold individually in 4 oz. bottles
