- The Dodge NV4500 4WD adapter to Ford NP205 / 208 is 1.625 in. in length.
- Adapter material is 356 T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. The adapter kit includes an adapter ring for the Ford transfer case, spud shaft with 31 spline x 29 internal spline, gasket, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.
- Transfer Case
- The Ford transfer cases NP205, NP208, and the various Borg Warner 1300 series are all basically treated the same when it comes to adapting to them. They all have a circular 6 bolt pattern, a 31 spline input, and same index diameter.
- Transmission
- The adapter kit is designed for exclusive use with a Dodge 4WD NV4500 transmission with a 29 spline output shaft. Shortening of the transmission output shaft is required.
