    Compact Chassis Frame Rails

    Alston Frame Rails are avalible in 2" x 3" rectangle or 1-5/8" round, mandrel bent tubing. The rear kick-up allows the use of 32" ladder bars or 4-link rear suspensions. Alston Frame Rails come in your choice of a-arm or strut front suspension styles. Available in 2 lengths and widths. Compact Frames are 24" wide and will handle up to 105" wheel base. Intermediate frames are 28" wide and handle up to 118" wheel base. Includes main, rack & pinion, shock and rear crossmembers. Alston Frame Rails also include a dropped transmission crossmember. Note: Ships un-welded – Welding required.

    What is the difference in what you receive between the strut and a arm front suspension options? How are the rails different? What is the height of the upsweep on each the ends?

    The measurements you are looking for are based on the lower frame rail; The rear has an upward measurement of 12" The a-arm frame the front goes up 10" The strut car the front goes up 6" at a more gradual rate.
