This head is sold as an unassembled bare casting. It is finished machined and includes valve guides and valve seats installed. This head does NOT include rocker studs, valves, springs, retainers or locks.

4.500'' Bore Spacing! The introduction of the PB 5000 series heads blows the 5.0-inch bore spacing market wide open. These masterpieces are by far the most user-friendly heads in their class. These heads offer several features that include: 15° valve angle, raised oval-shaped intake ports, and specially designed combustion chambers that are nitrous-friendly. PB 5000 series heads require special pistons, valve covers, head studs, shaft mounted rocker arms, headers and intake manifold.

Every casting is poured from A-356 virgin aluminum and tested before Brodix utilizes their in-house processes such as finish machining and heat treating to assure that you receive the best products for your hard-earned money. Other features include a thick deck surface that is compatible with nitrous, drilled and tapped holes on the ends for standard drive accessories, phosphorous bronze valve guides and copper valve seats installed.
